Day Trip to a Tuscan Winery
A scenic coach ride into the hills for a winery tour, tasting, and long lunch under the vines. Return to Florence in the late afternoon.
Experience the beauty of the Tuscan countryside in autumn! We’ve rented a private coach to take the group through the rolling hills south of Florence. We’ll meet at 8:45 AM near Santa Maria Novella Train Station, and depart promptly at 9:00.
Our route winds through vineyards, olive groves, and cypress-lined roads — a scenic escape from the city. Along the way, we’ll stop in a small hilltop village for coffee and sightseeing before continuing on to Castello di Verrazzano, a historic winery in the heart of Chianti Classico.
Enjoy a guided tour of the cellars, followed by a wine tasting and leisurely Tuscan lunch overlooking the vineyards. The coach will return to Florence by late afternoon, leaving plenty of time to rest before evening plans.

For our last night in Florence, we’ll gather for an unforgettable dinner in one of the city’s oldest and most atmospheric restaurants — a vaulted brick cellar just steps from the Duomo.
Enjoy a four-course Tuscan meal featuring local specialties such as ribollita, handmade pasta, and Florence’s legendary bistecca alla fiorentina. Wine, laughter, and memories will flow freely as we share stories, raise glasses, and celebrate friendships that have lasted half a century.
A few short toasts and a group photo will mark the close of our reunion before we say arrivederci.
